Swalwell Swifts Under 8's (Swalwell Juniors, FA charter standard, football club) are looking for a goalkeeper to join a friendly and supportive group of players. SWALWELL SWIFTS under 8’s Team 2009/10 have had a promotion-winning season and are still looking to strengthen the squad in preparation for next season at U9's. We are part of an excellent club with some of the best facilities in the region which has recently been chosen as one of only four clubs in the North East to partner Sunderland Academy and will benefit from additional professional coaching next season. We are looking for some additional talented players to complement some good, experienced players and some friendly parents. Players need to be (born 1st September 2001 to 31st August 2002) going into Year 4 next school year. The Swifts play in the Premier division of 4 divisions in the Russell Foster League with matches on a Saturday morning. Players will also need to commit to one evening training session, on a Thursday - we are only 2 mins away from the Metro Centre.
